This Kids Burger comes from Swenson's family restaurant. I sampled this kids burger meal at the Suntec City branch last month. Wasn't feeling very hungry then so it may have affected my taste buds for this Kids Burger dish.
The main beef I have about the Swenson's Kids burger meal was the patty. The patty was pretty stiff and unyielding to my loose teeth. I have tasted softer patties, the way I like my beef. In fact, the softer and tender, the better. However, this kids burger did not fall under the 'soft' category.
The Swenson dough covering the beef patty was average. I like my bread soft and this did not feel soft. The introduction of lettuce was a good initiative for my kids, as they seldom like to ingest vegetables.
The Swenson's corn was sweet and palatable too. Not really outstanding but anyway how outstanding can corn be? The potato side dish did not impress my taastebuds. As I said, I wasn't feeling really hungry enough to eat my kids share.
Overall, nothing to shout about. So I'm giving this a 6 out of 10.
Kids will still like the cute flag as a Swenson toy gift though.

I walked past the indoor playground of Explorer kid club at Downtown East. Looks like a big children's playground that is located indoors. It occupies 8,200 square foot of retail space at E!Hub in Downtown East, Pasir Ris.
The Explorer Kid Club with its large indoor playground inside e!Hub of Downtown East entertains kids with fun and games. It is designed to stimulate children's imagination and push them to learn.
The indoor playground consists of 20 fun play elements. Besides the indoor playground things, the Explorer Kids club also has a lighted ball pool, a multimedia platform, internet kiosks. A cool hangout for kids, parents and teachers.

With strong air-con, this place is a very cold indoor playground at Downtown East. The other thing that is holding me back from using it is the fear of getting hand foot and mouth disease. I guess if sick kids are screened and barred from this place, I might bring my children to visit their indoor playground.
NTUC's e!hub at Pasir Ris Drive 3 and Pasir Ris Close has just officially opened recently. The new e!hub ferris wheel at Pasir Ris has capsules that can seat 6 persons. This e!hub ferris wheel ride doesn't come cheap. The last time I checked a few days ago, adults and children pay the same rate. A ride on the e!hub ferris wheel costs $6.50. There is a slightly cheaper family ticket for two adults and two children at $18.50. The list price of the e!hub ferris wheel ride is here: 1 pax @ $6.50, 2 pax @ $11.50, 3 pax @ $15.50 & 4 pax @ $18.50
I tried the e!hub ferris wheel ride at Pasir Ris recently. I bought the tickets from a counter about ten metres away. At the foot of the ferris wheel, you show the ticket and climb the stairs to get onto the ferris wheel. I stepped onto the cage with my family but my movement created a lot of unwanted swing. Each ticket allows you to complete only two revolutions, which seems expensive for such a quick ride.
